This Week at Holy Family

SHOE DRIVE: During the Advent and Christmas seasons, we will be having a shoe drive to benefit K-8 students at El Camino Real Academy. Shoes must be new. Most needed are shoes for first through third graders, sizes 13 through 3.  They can also use size 3 ½ and 5. Our collection will end on January 6. Please place all shoes under the table in the front hallway.

A NEW LITURGICAL YEAR! This Sunday December 2 is the First Sunday of Advent, a season of waiting and anticipation. It is also the start of a new church year, when we leave the Gospel of Mark and turn to the Gospel of Luke. Luke contains some of the most well-known bible stories, like the Parable of the Good Samaritan. If you want to learn more about the Gospel, join us for our weekly bible study SCRIPTURE@TRIBES. We meet Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. at Tribes Coffee House, 3470 Zafarano Dr. Bring your bible.

HEALING is offered after worship this Sunday, the first Sunday of the month. If you are in need of healing of spirit, mind or body, please come for prayers, anointing and the laying on of hands.

IT’S NOT TOO LATE to turn in your pledge for 2019! It’s going to be an exciting year with new people stepping into new roles. Won’t you share your blessings from God and invest in this most holy community? Extra forms are available in the hallway. Thank you!
