This Sunday, we celebrate several things:

LAETARE SUNDAY The fourth Sunday of Lent is “Rejoice Sunday” in many Anglican and Roman Catholic churches, plus some Protestant denominations. “The fourth Sundaywas considered a day of relaxation from the normal rigors of Lent. It was a day of hope with Easter within sight,” says It’s one of the two Sundays of the year when the liturgical color can be rose.

MONTHLY SUNDAY POTLUCK Bring a dish to share as we quickly eat and then prepare for…

MOVING DAY! In preparation for new carpet on the first floor, we will be moving all items in the sanctuary, children’s formation room and priest’s office off the carpet. If you have any personal items at church, we ask that you please remove them by Sunday. Everything not used that is left in these rooms will be either moved upstairs, donated or discarded. Thanks to the Building & Grounds Committee who has worked hard at getting quotes, discerning what kind of flooring is best in the sanctuary and selecting the carpet.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR LENT? To help you in your Lenten disciplines of prayer, fasting and almsgiving, pick up a copy of the LENTEN MEDITATIONS 2018 BOOKLET and a UTO MITE BOX in the hallway. Also, make sure you are on our e-mail list. Throughout Lent, periodic extra e-mails will be sent to support you. Sign up at the table by the front door.
