This Week at Holy Family

TONIGHT: SCRIPTURE@TRIBES We start to gather Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at Tribes Coffee House, 3470 Zafarano Dr., for a study on readings for the upcoming Sunday. The study officially begins at 6 p.m. and ends by 7 p.m. Bring your bible. All are welcome!

SATURDAY:

ELECTION OF OUR NEXT BISHOP Please pray for our diocese, the three candidates and Bishop Vono. The electing convention is Saturday, May 5 at the Cathedral of St. John, Albuquerque. For information, www.drgbishoptransition.org.

RANCHO VIEJO FIFTH ANNUAL FIREWISE COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY Members of our church family will gather this Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Rancho Viejo Market parking lot, 55 Canada del Rancho, to help put with the Wildfire Community Preparedness Day. Gloves and trash bags will be provided.

SIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTER, MAY 6:

NEW PRAYER SQUARES MINISTRY Please join us for a brief meeting after church, if you're interested in creating prayer squares for blankets and shawls. The squares from many hands will be crocheted or sewn into blankets/shawls, rather like the laying on of hands for healing. No experience necessary. Yarn, hooks and needles will be supplied. We'll talk about when, how often and where to meet, who needs to learn the art (knitting or crocheting, right- or left-handed). It is a wonderfully magical ministry and an opportunity for fellowship and the calm of needlework.
