This Week at Holy Family

DID YOU MISS OUR ANNUAL MEETING? After 5 p.m. tonight, the Vicar’s Annual Meeting message will be posted on our website. Go to the Sermons page and then find the message shared January 13, 2019. Learn where we are headed in 2019!  We have a preliminary plan that has been shared with the Diocesan Finance Committee and Bishop. We will be developing a fuller strategic plan with the help of the whole congregation in the future. Our kick-off is February 10 at Maria’s Restaurant and we complete our plan by Pentecost, June 9. Listen to the sermon for more details.

BISHOP’S COMMITTEE MEETING The first meeting of the new Bishop’s Committee will be held this Sunday, January 20 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Congratulations to new members Dan Donoghue, Deborah James, Candia Thew and Bishop’s Warden Kay Storr!

2019 CHURCH DIRECTORY is available on the front table in the hallway.

PRAYER SQUARES meets Wednesday, January 23 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at church. Join the group for fellowship, fun, knitting, crocheting and treats!

ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS SEASONS WORSHIP REVIEW We are looking for feedback on our worship services held throughout the Advent and Christmas seasons. Share with us your thoughts and ideas Sunday, January 27 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We will focus on what we want to keep: things we want to repeat, the positives we can see doing in the future; what we want to stop: what happened that we want to make sure does not happen again, what actions took away from what we were doing during the service; and what we want to start: what we miss doing that could have made the services better or what we should add to the experiences in the future to take them to the next level.

BIBLE STUDY While we are looking for a new venue, our weekly bible study is on break. Starting March 7, we will be offering SOUP & SCRIPTURE Thursday nights throughout Lent, starting at 6 p.m. at church. More details to follow.
