THURSDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY We gather at 5:30, officially start at 6 and end by 7 p.m. at Santa Fe Place Mall Food Court. No bible study next Thursday, Maundy Thursday. Bible study will take a summer break from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

EPISCOPAL CHURCH 101 Saturday, April 13, 9:30-11 a.m. “Worship: Holy Hardware & More”; Saturday, April 27, 9:30-11 a.m. “ECUSA: The Organization and People”; Sunday, May 5, Noon to 1:30 p.m. “What We Believe”.                                                               

PALM SUNDAY, April 14 The Liturgy of the Palms followed by regular Sunday service with the reading of the Passion according to Luke. MONTHLY POTLUCK AND NEXT STRATEGIC PLANNING SESSION After worship, we will have updates on the action steps to be taken from the three groups that have developed: Communications, Community Presence and Service.  Our main focus after the updates will be discerning our mission and vision. Please bring a dish to share and your ideas, dreams and hopes for our church. Pray for our faith community. “We pray for the growth of this baptismal community. Lord, build up our church in spirit, mind and body.  Amen.”  FUTURE STRATEGIC PLANNING SESSION May 12, noon-1:30 p.m. 

EASTER FLOWER DONATIONS This Sunday is the last day to make donations to our Easter flowers! Fill out the information below and enclose it in an envelope with a check made to Holy Family, with “Easter flowers” on the memo line. Place your envelope in the Offertory by Palm Sunday, April 14 to be included in the Easter bulletin.

APRIL SERVICE PROJECT During Lent, we are collecting items for the Institute of American Indian Arts student pantry. Bring items in by 6 p.m. Maundy Thursday, as they will be picked up by IAIA BEFORE the Maundy Thursday liturgy. Needed items: clothing, snacks, kitchen items (tableware, dishes, etc.), household items (towels and twin/full/queen bedding), and baby items & clothing (from 3 months to 4T).

HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE: MAUNDY THURSDAY, APRIL 18 Donated items for the IAIA student pantry will be picked up at 6 p.m. Foot washing and the last Holy Eucharist before Easter 6:30 p.m.                                                                                                              GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 19 Confessions 4-5:30 p.m. Veneration of the Cross 6:30 p.m.                                                                                                          

SUNDAY OF THE RESURRECTION: EASTER APRIL 21 10:30 a.m. worship, with light Easter snacks following, provided by the Storrs.

UTO MITE BOXES United Thank Offering helps build churches and schools, make needed renovations, feed the hungry, clothe the poor and provide shelter for the homeless. Take a mite box from the front table in the hallway and fill it with blessings. Return it to church Easter week.      

INSTRUCTED EUCHARIST SUNDAY, APRIL 28 The Second Sunday of Easter, the Confirmands and others taking the EC101 class will guide us in an Instructed Eucharist. Learn about the various parts of the Sunday liturgy and why we do what we do!

BISHOP’S COMMITTEE MEETING Sunday, April 28, 11:45 a.m. to`1 p.m.

BLUE SHIRT WORKDAY May 4 starting at 10 a.m., we will be clearing brush with the La Cienega Volunteer Fire Dept. as part of Rancho Viejo Firewise Day. Gloves will be provided. Wear your Holy Family blue shirt if you have one; otherwise Firewise T-shirts will be provided. Don’t forget to wear SPF and if you have breathing issues, bring a mask.

HOLY HIKE Saturday, May 11, 9:30 to 3 p.m. Join our very own expert hiker Bill Cooper for a hike on Lion’s Cave Trail in Bandelier National Park. Bill was the Coordinator for the Southwestern Mountaineers Technical Rescue team and was on the National Ski Patrol for 17 years. He will lead our three-hour hike in God’s great creation. We will meet at church, departing at 9:30 a.m. and return by around 3 p.m. Bring plenty of water, snacks and walking sticks, as needed. SPF and hiking shoes too.
