This Week at Holy Family

SERVICE MINISTRY UPDATE  Many thanks to the volunteers who prepared and served the evening meals to Casa Familia on February 26 and April 23.  The first meal was served to about 20 residents and staff and the second to a few less, although Casa Familia has room for as many as 30 residents.  After the first meal, when we had seven helpers, we found that only a couple of on-site helpers are needed, so we had four volunteers at the second meal.  Most of the help required is from those who prepare the dishes (we had eleven for the two meals combined).  Casa Familia is St. Elizabeth's dedicated emergency shelter for single women and families with children. Casa Familia provides emergency shelter, meals, case management, showers, laundry, mail services, clothing, and supplies for women and families.
