Outreach
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
At the heart of our church life is a simple calling: to love our neighbors by serving them in meaningful, tangible ways. Each month, members of our church join hands at the local food bank, sorting dry goods that nourish families facing food insecurity.
Once a year, we partner with a nearby academy to help sustain their food pantry, ensuring students and families have access to what they need. We also come together to provide back-to-school supplies for an elementary school and prepare a cheerful burrito breakfast to show appreciation for the hard-working teachers and staff.
Every act of service, large or small, is a way we live out our baptismal vows—to share the good news of God in Christ, to seek and serve Christ in all people, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. If you feel inspired to join us in this spirit of care and compassion, we warmly invite you to take part alongside church members in this life-giving work.
We can always use help as the need is great and there is plenty to do. If you are inspired, contact us through the church office.
